What does this setting control?

The Audience step determines:

  • Who can see the event in their calendar

  • Who can interact with the event (book, respond, or view details)

Only residents included in the selected audience will have access to the event.

Where do I set this?

Audience is configured during event creation in the Audience step.

You can also update it later by editing the event.

Audience options

You can choose between two main options:

All residents

  • The event is visible to everyone in the building

  • All residents can view and interact with the event

Selected residents

  • The event is only visible to residents who match your selected filters

  • Only those residents can interact with the event

Filtering your audience

When selecting specific residents, you can refine your audience using filters:

Resident type (condos only)

  • Limit the event to specific resident types (e.g. owners, renters)

Individual residents

  • Select specific residents manually

Tags

  • Target groups of residents based on tags

  • Useful for interest groups or specific communities

Building (for multi-building communities)

  • Limit the event to one or more buildings

How audience selection affects residents

Audience settings control both visibility and participation:

  • If a resident is included, they can:

    • See the event

    • Book or respond

  • If a resident is not included, they:

    • Will not see the event

    • Cannot interact with it

What happens if you change the audience later?

If you edit the audience after publishing:

  • Residents who no longer match the audience:

    • Will no longer see the event

    • May have their bookings affected

You may be prompted to:

  • Keep or cancel affected bookings

  • Notify impacted residents
