What does “OS not supported” mean?

If you have an older version of your operating system installed on your device and are attempting to update a new version of the 1VALET App from the App Store or Google Play, you might see a pop-up box that instructs you to update your device’s operating system first, before you can proceed with the app update.

This also applies if you are installing the 1VALET app on your device for the first time (either as a first-time user or if you’ve purchased a new phone),

You will only see this when 1VALET no longer supports the operating system installed on your device.

We encourage you to always keep your device updated to the latest version of the 1VALET App and your device’s operating system (typically found under settings). Many operating system updates improve the performance and security of your phone and the performance and speed of the apps you are using as well.

To check the latest version of your operating system, follow the instructions below:

iOS

For iOS users, go to your device's Settings screen and tap on "General."

From there, tap on "About."

On the next screen, you'll see the iOS version number. Tap on it to see if there is an update.

Android

To check the operating system you have installed on an Android device, navigate to your device's Settings screen and tap on "About Phone" (this will be a different name on a tablet).

From there, scroll down until you see "Android version."

If you tap on it, it will let you know whether your operating system is up to date.

You can also check the 1VALET installation requirements on the App Store or Google Play to ensure that we support the version you have installed on your device.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support Team at support@1valet.com.
