My Payment shows as pending but my balance owing hasn’t changed. Why is this happening?

When a payment's status shows "pending," it means you have paid with a bank account using a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD), or Automated Clearing House (ACH) in the USA.

These types of payments typically take up to 3 business days to complete. When the payment is successfully processed from your bank account, the status of the payment will immediately update to ‘paid’, and your balance will update.

I still see “balance update is pending” even though my payment shows as processed in my payment history.

In some rare cases, the accounting system your building uses may not be available when we attempt to post the payment to your ledger. We will continually retry posting the payments until it succeeds, so there is nothing you need to do on your end. In this case, your property has received your payment, and your balance will update as soon as the building’s accounting system becomes available.
