1VALET’s integration with the Yardi Voyager resident management platform allows property management to add and manage all key resident contact information centrally within their Yardi database, and have this information sync to the 1CONNECT property management portal and 1VALET entry system directory. This avoids duplicate data entry and allows for smoother move-in and move-out experiences.
For residents to be integrated into the 1VALET system, they must be set as Current or Future Residents (or a valid roommate) with a valid 10-digit North American phone number listed in their profile in the Mobile or Home Phone field.
To ensure successful resident profile integration, all mandatory details, including a valid 10-digit phone number, must be accurately filled in Yardi. Missing or incomplete data can block synchronization. Administrators should double-check Yardi details before attempting a profile transfer or if they are not seeing a tenant they'd expect in 1VALET.
NOTE: If you have Yardi integration, you will have a green Sync button at the right corner of the page ADD NEW RESIDENT. The green Sync button can be used to add and sync resident details from Yardi as you will not be able to add new residents directly on the portal. Ensure that residents have existing accounts in Yardi before initiating synchronization. If issues persist, consider consulting the detailed troubleshooting guide or integration resources to resolve errors effectively.
Resolving Missing Residents in 1VALET
If 1VALET is not showing a tenant you would expect to see:
Vacant Suite Association:
Ensure the resident is added to the unit in Yardi.
Sync the resident profile via 1CONNECT.
Add a valid phone number in Yardi before initiating synchronization.
Eviction/Move-Out Status:
Update the resident’s status in Yardi to "Current Resident." Ensure move-in and move-out dates are correctly configured.
Sync the resident’s profile after updating.
Reactivating a Resident’s Profile for a New Suite
If a resident holds both old and new suite leases in Yardi and the new suite profile remains inactive:
Ask the resident to log out of their 1VALET app.
Send the resident an app invite with an activation code from 1CONNECT.
Advise the resident to use the code to activate their new suite profile.
Updating a Resident's Contact Information
Update phone numbers or emails in Yardi directly.
Manually trigger profile synchronization in 1CONNECT's Residents tab (SYNC button) or wait for the next automatic sync overnight.
