After installing the app for the first time (or re-installing it after purchasing a new phone, for example), we will ask you whether you prefer to receive Video Calls from the Entry System or audio calls to your phone number. When you choose Video Calls, we will need your permission to use your phone’s microphone during these calls in order to enable you to speak to guests. Tap “Next” to proceed with the permissions.

The pop-ups are generated by your device’s operating system. One of them relates to letting you know when a call is coming through (Notifications), while the other two relate to the use of your microphone when speaking to guests (Managing phone calls and Recording Audio).

If you decide not to allow 1VALET to send you notifications, you will not be able to hear if someone is calling you from the Entry System. Similarly, if you decide not to allow 1VALET to manage phone calls and record audio, your guest will not be able to hear you when they call.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support Team at support@1valet.com.
