Once you activate your account on 1VALET, video calling is enabled by default. This means that when visitors call you from the Entry System, you will be able to see them before letting them in. You can also answer the call if you want to speak with your visitor.

Entry System: Building Intercom Systems | 1Valet

However, if you would like to answer calls from the Entry System as a regular phone call, you can do so by turning on “Phone Call (audio only).”

From the Home screen, at the bottom of the screen, tap on the Grey Round icon.

Under "My Account," you find the “Intercom & Call Settings," tab. Tap on it.

Once you select it, you’ll see an aqua checkmark beside it to let you how your calls are coming in. In the example below, One-way Video Calling is currently enabled.

To change it to Phone Call, tap on "Phone Call (audio only) "to select it. From this screen, you will also be able to see the number your call will be forwarded to. You can edit this number if you wish.

Please keep in mind that whether you have video calling enabled or have chosen to switch to call forwarding, you will not hear calls coming in if your call notifications are on silent.

If you are switching to Call Forwarding because of technical issues with the Video Calling feature, we invite you to submit feedback to our team so that we can continue to improve our app.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support Team at support@1valet.com.
