If you are uploading images (e.g. to attach photos of your suite in a message to your property manager), or choose to enable facial entry, we will ask for permission to access your camera for these specific operations.
iOS
Tap "OK" to allow 1VALET to access your camera. 1VALET will not have access to your camera or photos unless you are performing a specific operation within the app using the camera.
If you choose "Don't Allow," you will not be able to enable Facial Entry or attach photos to your Property Manager through the app.
Android
Android handles it a bit differently and will ask you for permission to take pictures and record videos. You will have a choice for giving access:
"While using the app" If you choose this, 1VALET will not have access to your camera or photos unless you are performing a specific operation within the app using the camera.
"Only this time" If you choose this, you will be prompted to give permission every time you want to upload an image or take a photo through the app.
"Don't allow" If you choose this option, you will not be able to enable Facial Entry or attach photos to your Property Manager through the app.
