If your building supports this feature (not all do), residents can submit a maintenance request via the 1VALET App by following the steps below:
Tap on the “More” menu item on the bottom right of the app's home screen
If your building has this feature enabled, tap on “Maintenance Requests”, located under the Features section
To submit a new request, tap on “Start Request” and follow the prompts
First, select the category (e.g. Appliances, Windows, or Plumbing). If none of the categories apply, select “more options" to view more categories
After you've selected a category, you will see a list of subcategories related to the category you've selected. Select the one that fits your request.
Indicate the urgency of your request by selecting Yes if it is urgent, and No if it isn't
Provide details about your request in the text field, including photos or documents:
To add attachments, tap on the paperclip and choose a file from your device
To upload a photo, use the Camera option to take a photo while in the app,
You can also choose a photo from your phone's camera roll. Note: 1VALET will request permission to access your camera roll if you choose this option
Tap Send to attach the documents
Next, indicate whether you give permission for maintenance staff to enter your suite if you’re not at home
If you grant permission to enter, add any important instructions regarding entry, such as your suite door pin code, or whether you have pets
Tap Submit to send your request to building management
Note: You can view past and current requests, under “Your Requests” on the Maintenance Requests screen.
