If your building has a 1VALET Entry system, you can opt into Facial Entry, a keyless way to enter your building, through the app.

Setting up Facial Entry on the 1VALET App

To set up Facial Entry, either tap on the Facial Entry Card in the Discover carousel on the Home screen, or from the Facial Entry under the "Resident Profile" section of the More menu.

Then, tap on the "Enable" button.

Once you tap "Enable," you will be prompted to take three photos of your face. For best results, make sure that you are in a well-lit area, and follow these steps:

Step 1

Position your face within the outline until it turns blue. Then take the photo by tapping on the white button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2

Tap on "next" to take the next photo, or you can retake the photo.

Step 3

Once you have taken three photos, tap "OK" from the confirmation screen.

Once the system is done processing, you’ll be notified that Facial Entry has been enabled. This should only take a couple of minutes.

This feature can also be disabled at any time from the Facial Entry page.

Entering the building using Facial Entry

Once enabled, you can use it to enter the building by following these steps:

From the Entry System's Home screen, tap on the "Facial Entry" button, and follow the prompts

Step 1

Look straight at the camera

Step 2

Turn your head once to the left and once to the right. There is a video in the top left corner for your reference. You only need to do one successful turn for each side. This step is done to validate whether you are a real person.

Step 3

When you see the door unlock animation on the Entry System, you can enter the building.
