In an instance where there is a need to access two or more owned suites in the same or different 1VALET Communities, activating a second 1VALET resident account may come in handy.
First, ensure that the Property Management team has included your details in the building (either in both suites in a single building or in both buildings where you own). As long as profiles have been created, you will receive the standard welcome email or text from the 1VALET system.
Remember this email or text will contain a one-time-use 6-digit code unique to each suite. Hold on to this unique code for your second unit, as it will be needed to activate your second account.
From your 1VALET app profile "My Account" page, proceed to log out. Once done click on the small icon to the right of your username, and a small window will pop open at the bottom of your screen. Click on "Add Account".
You will be prompted to "Add Account" and to "Activate a New Account".
From there, type in the 6-digit Activation Code from your invitation email and the new suite before confirming the last four digits of your phone number on file.
After this, you will receive a prompt to either link the in-activation profile to your existing one or to create a new account. Linking both profiles will tie both to the same username and passcode and allow you to select which would be your Primary Suite upon login, while activating a new account will push you to create that profile with separate credentials.
From here, the process will be the same as your previous activation. You will be required to provide camera, audio and Bluetooth permissions. Once signed in you can switch between units and buildings by simply clicking on the 1VALET icon and selecting "Change" under "My Building".
