If you have a resident needing access to multiple suites through 1VALET, activating a second 1VALET resident account may come in handy.
To do this, ensure that the Property Management team has included your details in the building (either in both suites in a single building or in both buildings where you own). As long as profiles have been created, you will receive the standard welcome email or text from the 1VALET system.
Remember this email or text will contain a one-time-use 6-digit code unique to each suite. Hold on to this unique code for your second unit, as it will be needed to activate your second account.
Start by signing out of your current 1VALET app profile. You can do this by tapping the circular 1VALET icon at the bottom of the app, navigating to "My Account" and scrolling to the bottom to "Sign out".
From the Sign In screen, click the text that says "Activate an account".
From there, type in the new 6-digit Activation Code from your invitation email.
Next, confirm your phone number. This phone number must match the phone number set on your resident profile. If you are unsure what the number is on your profile, contact your property manager.
You will then receive a prompt to either link this new suite to your existing username/profile or to create a new account. Linking the profiles will tie both to the existing username and passcode and allow you to select which would be your Primary Suite upon login (preferred in most scenarios). Activating a new account will push you to create a new username for this new profile.
From here, the process will be the same as your previous activation (step-by-step details for that can be found here). You will be required to provide camera, audio and Bluetooth permissions. Once signed in you can switch between units and buildings by simply clicking on the 1VALET icon and selecting "Change" under "My Building".
