When guests call from the intercom, you will receive a 1VALET call notification on your phone.

  1. Tap on the call notification to open the 1VALET app and see the video feed from the intercom. You will be able to see your guest but they will not be able to see you.

  2. From here you can choose to unlock the building entry door immediately, answer the call to speak to the visitor before unlocking, or ignore the call.

  3. After unlocking, hang up the call.

  4. For best results, please ensure that your device and 1VALET Resident App are both up to date, and that your device is connected to a strong, reliable Wi-Fi or data connection.

Some residents prefer to have visitor access calls come in via traditional phone call than the 1-way video in-app. The 1VALET Resident App allows for call forwarding to the resident’s phone or to any North American phone number, landlines included:

  1. To enable this, tap More on the bottom toolbar and navigate down to Call Settings.

  2. Confirm your call forwarding number, and select Call Forwarding.

  3. When a call comes in, to grant entry to a visitor simply answer the call from the intercom, and press any number on the dial pad to unlock the door.
