iOS lock screen widget

If you have an iOS device running version 16 or later, you can add a digital key widget on your lock screen for quick access to your building.

For buildings with digital fob access via the 1VALET App, the lock screen widget will be your digital fob. For buildings with remote unlock only, the lock screen widget will be the first entry door in your app (you can always reorder the entry doors on the app so that your preferred digital key is the one that gets added to your lock screen).

To add a lock screen widget, follow the steps below:

Make sure your phone is showing the lock screen.

Next, tap and hold anywhere until you see additional options. Tap on the "Customize" button.

Next, tap on the "Add Widgets" button, located beneath the time.

Select the 1VALET widget. It's the one with the green slash.

Tap on the close (x) button to close the window with the widgets.

Now tap the "Done" button, located in the top right corner of your screen.

You will notice that lock screen widgets have a transparent background and will blend in with your home screen wallpaper. This is normal. Your widget is now ready to use!
