The Guest Access feature allows residents to provide their guests with keyless entry to their building and/or suite and common area doors - in buildings with this feature enabled.

Creating a Guest Access Code/Invite - Entry System Door

From the 1VALET App Home screen, tap on the “More” icon on the bottom navigation bar.

Then tap on “Guest Access” located under “Features.”

Tap the "+ New Access" button.

By default any Entry System doors will be checked.

For buildings that allow, you may have the ability to add additional doors to your Guest Access. Your guests would be required to download the 1VALET app in this scenario.

If you would like to give access to just Entry System door(s) tap "Continue."

Input the desired Code Nickname for the person receiving access, then tap "Continue."

Select what the Start Date and End Date for which the access will be valid for, then tap "Continue."

If you wish to leave the "End Date" indefinite, toggle the "No End" option.

Click on "Done" and proceed to confirm the inputted details: name, access location and timeframe, tap "Create Code" to continue or "Cancel" to change any details.

Code successfully created! Grant access by copying the 6-digit code and sharing.

Creating a Guest Access Code/Invite with Additional Doors

If you would like to grant your guest access to more than the Main Entry doors (if you building allows this feature):

Check any additional box(es) available to you to grant access, then tap "Continue."

You will be prompted to create the Guest Details. You can import guest name from your "phone contacts" or enter them manually.

Proceed to select what the Start Date and End Date for which the access will be valid for, then tap "Continue."

Confirm the inputted details, tap "Create Invite" to continue or "Cancel" to change any details.

Invite successfully created! Your guest would have to download the 1VALET app before they arrive. An SMS will be sent to the number inputted directing your guests on how to proceed.

Rescinding an Existing Guest Code/Invite

If you decide to rescind your guest access, from the Guest Access page, select the individual whose access you would like to revoke.

Tapping the "Remove" button will give you a prompt.

Select "Remove" to take away access or "Go Back" to keep the access.

Please note: Guests with rescinded access can only regain it after receiving a new code/ invite and reactivating their account from the 1VALET app.
