Building Alerts are designed to keep you informed about the health of connected services and any unusual activity within the building.

An intrusion alert is generated by the Salto server if a door is opened by bypassing the Salto system. This indicates the door might have been forced open or unlocked with a physical key. Opening a door with a fob or the 1VALET App does not trigger these alerts.

If you receive frequent intrusion alerts, ensure that building staff are not using physical keys to unlock Salto-enabled doors. Instead, they should use a physical fob or a digital fob through the 1CONNECT App.

These may also be generated if a door is set up to have door contacts in Salto, when the physical door itself does not have door contacts. In this case the door will generate an intrusion alert every time it is opened by any method. The door configuration in Salto needs to be adjusted.

Regardless, these alerts need to be investigated to maintain building security. Once you verify the door is secure, you can resolve the alert by clicking the "Resolve" button.
