Building Alerts are designed to keep you informed about the health of connected services and any unusual activity within the building.

An unknown fob alert is generated if a door is opened using a fob that is unassigned in 1VALET. This means the fob likely has permissions on the Salto side but does not have an owner on the 1VALET side. This could indicate that an unauthorized person has access to your building or that a staff member is using an unassigned fob.

If the alert is caused by a staff member using the fob, you can find the fob ID in the access logs, locate the fob in the 1CONNECT Portal, and either assign it to the staff member or give it a tag.

Regardless, these alerts need to be investigated to maintain building security. Once you verify that the fob is not being used by an intruder, you can resolve the alert by clicking the "Resolve" button.
