Your building's 1VALET entry system will display a "No Network" message on screen if it is no longer receiving internet. Many of the system's main functions rely on internet, but the system has a trick up its sleeve to help in scenarios like this.
Backup Building Access through the 1VALET app
Follow these steps to access the backup QR code building access tool
Open the 1VALET resident app.
Tap on the large round button at the bottom of your screen:
Tap on Backup Building Access:
Scan the QR code using the scanner at the bottom of the machine. For best performance, start with your phone close to the scanner and slowly move it back until the code is scanned.
You are all set! Your property management will have been alerted to the outage and is likely already working to resolve it.
