There is more than one way to contact a resident using the 1VALET Entry Console. In this article, we'll explore all three methods.
First, using the 'Call By A-Z' option allows you to scroll through the alphabetically listed residents' names, search using the smart search bar located at the top of the directory or slide up or down the alphabet listing on the right-hand side of the directory. This method works best when you know the name of the resident you're visiting.
Next is using the 'Call By Code' option. This is mainly used for delivery services or individuals who wish to share their names with third parties such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other services. This feature utilises the unique code each resident is assigned upon having their 1VALET profile created.
Finally, the 'Call By Suite' option. This allows guests the option to connect with a resident by calling them using their Suite number. Where there is more than one resident in a suite, any of the residents can select who receives this call when this option is utilised by changing the 'call by suite recipient' in the 1VALET app under the 'My Account' > 'Intercom & Call Settings' > 'Call by Suite Recipient.'
If there is only one person in the suite, then this option will not show up.
Property Managers can also make this recipient switch using the 1CONNECT Portal > 'Suites Tab' > 'Suite' > 'Call by Suite Recipient.'
