For buildings with a 1VALET entry system, the Intercom Settings tab allows you to customize your entry systems in a few ways.

The intercom button on your entry system (typically labelled "Concierge" on your screen to start) can be edited to ensure the on-screen label and the contact destinations for this call button are appropriate for your site.

Intercom Label

To edit the on-screen label for this button, navigate to Intercom Settings in your 1CONNECT Web Portal (near the bottom of your left side menu). Tap Edit Intercom Label and enter your desired text in the box that displays.

Your Intercom Label will adjust accordingly:

Receiving Calls - Intercom Contacts

To edit how you receive calls when visitors tap this button on your entry system, click the pencil icon towards the right of the screen to edit your active contact.

By default, calls will be set to "Forward to the 1CONNECT Portal", meaning calls will be received directly to the 1CONNECT Web Portal as a picture-in-picture video stream for any staff that have 1CONNECT open on their screen.

To change this to a phone number of your choosing, un-check this box and enter an Active hours number. Extensions can be provided as well.

Then, confirm your Active hours below. This sets the days and hours of the week that contact will be active on your screen.

If you include an After hours number, outside of your scheduled active hours, visitors pressing this contact button on screen will be routed to this secondary number. This can be helpful if you have one main phone line during business hours, and a secondary superintendent number in the evenings for example.

If no After hours number is inputted, your contact will simply disappear from the screen outside of your scheduled active hours.

You can include multiple contacts if applicable as well. Add a second contact using the green + icon near the top. In this scenario when visitors tap your intercom button, they will be presented with all your active contacts to choose from.

Entry System Branding

You can also customize the logo and banner photos on your entry screen from the Entry System Branding option.

Click the pencil icon inside the appropriate photo icon to customize those photos. You will be able to crop or move your photo in the Edit Image window. Once saved, use the preview window to your right to see a mock-up of your entry system visuals.

These settings can be changed at any point from your 1CONNECT Intercom Settings tab.
