View access codes

In the main Fobs and Access Codes view, there’s a bucket called Codes. At the top right, there’s a button to View the available codes.

Click on it to see all of the codes that have been issued for your building. Each code is identifiable by a tag, and a unique six-digit number that is randomly generated when you create a new code.

Remove and view more information

To remove a code, click on the top right dot menu, and select Remove.

To see more information about the code, including who issued it and when it was created, click More Info.

Create a new access code

Starting from the main Fobs and Access Codes screen, click on Create new code, under the bucket that displays the number of entry codes.

A new, random code will appear in the Create new code screen. Beside it are two buttons: Customize and Generate code. Customize allows you to create your own six-digit code, and Generate code will randomly generate a different six-digit code.

If you choose to customize a code, you’ll have to select Validate once you’ve input the desired number for your new code.

In this screen, you can set a date for the code to expire.

Select the building or buildings that you want the code to apply to, then click Next.

The Permissions & Identification section will open to prompt you to add a tag to your code. Create a tag for your code, something that is easy to identify, and click Add.

Tip: It’s a good idea to devise a simple format for naming tags, and keep it consistent so it’s easy to understand for new members of your staff.

Note: If you click Create before clicking Add to your tag, an error message will appear at the top of your screen.

Click Create, and your code will be generated. View the full list of access codes to see your new code.

When you view the codes for your building, if you've set an expiration date for a code, a clock icon will indicate this.
