Rent Payments

Depending on what payment options were configured by your building's payment administrator, residents may have the option to use credit/debit cards or pay with a bank through a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD). Please contact your building's payment administrator if a resident does not see an option to add both credit/debit and bank accounts from the "add payment method" screen in the resident app. For a detailed description of how residents can add debit/credit cards or banking info, please consult the following articles:

One-time and automatic payments

Additionally, residents will have the option to make "one-time payments" or "automatic payments" using our AutoPay feature in the resident app. Please note that residents will need to add a payment method even if they are making a one-time payment.

For more information on one-time and automatic payments, please refer to the following articles:

Partial payments

Depending on what your payment administrator has configured for your property, residents within a suite may have the option to send partial payments (split rent). Please ask your payment administrator if you are unsure if residents can do this.

Please refer to the following Resident App article for more information on split payments:

Amenity Payments

When paying for an amenity through the 1VALET App, residents will only have the option to pay using a credit or debit card.

You can also configure an amenity to allow the resident to "pay in person" in the amenity setup (and edit) screens. When this option is selected, residents will have the choice to add a credit/debit card or pay in person when booking an amenity.

If residents do not see these payment options in the 1VALET App, and you think they should, please contact your payments administrator to enable this option for paid amenities.
